Little Kittens Need Eye Surgery
Donation protected

Hello friends,
I'm Augusta. I took in these two little kittens, Miss Whitey and Hissy Fit, from outside. They were treated for eye infections and diagnosed with congenital eyelid agenesis, which means they were born without part of their upper eyelids. They aren't able to close their eyes completely so the eyes do not get lubricated and protected properly. The eye is connected directly to the fur on the outer corners so fur rubs constantly on their eye. This causes chronic dryness, irritation, infection, ulceration, buildup of scar tissue, and potential rupture and vision loss. The veterinarian says quality of life is low if not treated. The procedure to alleviate their eye problems is costly. All three of us will be very appreciative if you can chip in! All funds raised will go directly to their eye care. They are playful and getting used to socializing with people and can have a happy, long, healthy, loving life if we can help them out! We were able to get their mom spayed and vaccinated and she is healthy and cared for. Let me know if you have any questions! Thank you!
