Little Jaylin's Journey to Recovery

Hello, my name is Sherri Steers, and I am setting up this Go Fund Me for a former co-worker of mine that became family. Javier Lopez is, or should I say was a normal get up go to work and support your family type of guy that is until February 10, 2023, when his 6-year-old little girl Jaylin Rosales was taken to Valley Children’s Hospital in Madera, Ca. where she was admitted and stayed for a little over a week.

Through all the testing, bloodwork and scans it was found that little Jaylin was diagnosed with not (1) but (8) different blood, tissue, and autoimmune disorders (Lupus, Juvenile Arthritis, Muscle Tissue Disease, ITP, Dermatomyositis, Anemia, Thrombocytopenia, & Celiac Disease). Since being diagnosed, Jaylin now must go to Valley Children’s Hospital at least (4) times a month for IVIG treatments along with the many medications and injections she now must endure at home daily along with physical therapy, she is also requiring a special wheelchair for children that the insurance Javier had at the time he was working denied.

Unfortunately, Javier and his wife had to make a life decision on the full-time care of Jaylin, and this is how he became a former co-worker. Javier sacrificed his job, his only income for his family to be a full-time caregiver for Jaylin as his wife is already a full-time caregiver for her parents.

I know that Jaylin has a long road to recovery ahead of her and life for her will never be what we think of as normal, but I would like to help her get to where she can and will be as happy and healthy as she can be with the circumstance, she is given at such a young age.

Whether you are a family member, close friend, acquaintance, coworker, or a stranger, I hope you would consider helping Jaylin’s journey and support her and her family in this time of need. I am hoping to get enough means set up to help support medical bills, IVIG treatments, and travel expenses, along with various bills and expenses that will come with the hardships for them in the future.

As a parent myself I could only imagine what they are going through. Please help me and help Jaylin and her family so that they can focus on nothing else but the care and recovery she so deserves.
