Little Jaxon's Big Heart Surgery Journey
Donation protected
No one ever wants to hear that their baby needs heart surgery. On April 24th, the cardiologist in Winchester told us that our little 9-month-old, Jaxon, would need heart surgery to fix the hole in his heart. We were on medication to help with all of this fluid he had, and that's just not working for him. We went from having it twice a day to 3 times per day. The fluid is going in the hole and out into his lungs, which is why he is coughing so much. Any little illness to us adults is just a tiny issue, but with a baby with heart issues, it's a big issue. The cardiologist has been great, especially when it comes to our little boy. No one would ever expect our little boy to need such a big surgery because he is just so happy. This surgery will be in the next 4 to 6 weeks, or sooner this is taking place at UVA. Our little family could use all the prayers we can get to help us stay on top of our bills. My husband has to take off work, not knowing for how long, to make sure our other babies are well taken care of as well. If you can't donate, please just pray for our little boy. God bless you all. I will keep all updated.
