On March 16th, 2020 we had to make the difficult decision to temporarily close our doors for the first time in 45 years. Never have we been faced with a decision such as this, never before have we feared for the health and safety of our employees and patrons such as we do today. Unfortunately, due to the health crisis surrounding the Novel Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) there was no other alternative.
We have received many emails and calls from all over the world from our customers asking about the well-being of the staff that has served and shared memories with you over the years and we thank you all for your concern. Many of you have also asked how you can help directly? NYC is on Pause until at least the middle of May and with the uncertain future we have set up this page to help all of the waiters, chefs, bartenders, and staff at IL Cortile. Please note that 100% of the donations made will go to our employees who are no longer able to earn a living due to this forced closure.
On behalf of the IL Cortile NYC family, we thank you and look forward to serving each of you, your families & friends once again.
