Little Hands, Big Hopes - Climb to stairway to heaven
Donation protected
My name is Alice, and I had the privilege of being Isla-Rose’s mother, a truly remarkable little angel. In 2022, Isla-Rose was diagnosed with a rare genetic condition known as CDG, making her the second individual diagnosed in Northern Ireland. She passed away at nearly five months old, surrounded by a compassionate team of specialists and nurses who supported us during her final days.
The dedication of the nursing staff was extraordinary; they consistently went above and beyond, ensuring Isla-Rose's comfort, keeping us informed, and assisting with funeral arrangements. They became an integral part of our family and our journey.
All donations will be directed to the Paul Ward at the Belfast Royal Hospital for Sick Children, supporting the exceptional staff who prioritize the well-being of their patients and families above all else.
