LITTLE FIG BAKE SHOP

Hello Everyone!

For those who don't know me, I'm Melanie. And I own a tiny vegan bakery called Little Fig Bake Shop in Baltimore City. 

I started my career right here in Baltimore. A lot of long hours, blood, burns, scars, cuts, and tears definitely a lot of tears have gone into the food I have created over the years.  ( Only figuratively! )  I was constantly searching for something that was going to fulfill me mentally and creatively. Over the past couple of years I transitioned my cooking style towards being more plant-based.


Even opened up one of the top vegan restaurants in the city alongside  my former business partners. But now, yes now, I can finally say, I have something of my own.
Little Fig has been operating for almost a year and a half, and it has far exceeded my expectations. 
We are at the point where we are at full capacity at the location we are currently baking out of now.  And we are looking to expand our operations.  

 We want to create more plant- based sweet treat options out there for folks who may have dietary restrictions, allergies, or simply just want to eat something that was made with ingredients that are cruelty-free and delicious!




So here's where you come in! We need a a bit of help to get us ready for this years 2019 Farmer's Market Season as well as ramping up  our production in order to increase our supply to you guys! As well as starting to host Cake Workshops and Kid's Decorating Workshops.  We also plan on launching our online SHOP in the summer!

We have our new kitchen space picked out and will be doing our batch production out of it. With operational moving costs, rent costs,  as well as new equipment costs we need a bit more help to get us to where we need to be! 




The money will go towards the equipment  we need in order to bulk up our production. 

Like two commercial proofers (that means more doughnuts!!)

MISC kitchen tools 


For each donation we have thought out what we could do to say THANK YOU!

PLEASE BE ADVISED: We cannot ship our doughnuts or cakes. These are local pick up items.
