Our handsome, bright eyed, 3 1/2 year old boy was unexpectedly and suddenly diagnosed with every parents worst fear on Saturday, January 19, 2019 with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia.
Our world came crashing down. We know these awful things happen but we never imagined that it would happen to one of our children. We know that God did not do this to our son. But we do know that God created our son and God can and will heal him.
Waylon is a remarkable, loving, happy boy. He has a huge heart that is full of so much love and is always thinking of others. He is known be shy but once he warms up he is a firecracker with silly faces and always playing jokes. He has a passion for the outdoors, loves anything John Deere related and would rather swing a hammer, dig in the dirt, work on his power wheels or ride the real tractor.
Many people have asked what they can do for us. We only ask that family, friends and those we have never met to please continue to lift up our sweet boy up in prayer and continue to pray for a full recovery and the strength of his small body to be able to fight this. We ask for prayers for our family to stay strong and manage each day as it comes.
All funds for Waylon will be used towards medical bills for the next 2 years as the chemo treatment continues until he is in full remission, and any hardship in finances that we accrue along the way. Left over funds will be use towards savings for his future and helping other children fight their cancer battles.
May God bless and always be with Our little farmer.
