Our Son’s Journey – Help Us Complete His Hearing Restoration

Dear friends and kind hearts,

My name is Zhansaya, and I am a mother fighting for her son’s future.

Our son was born with bilateral microtia, a rare condition where both ears did not fully develop. From the very beginning, we knew his path would not be easy. Hearing is not just about sound — it is about speech, learning, confidence, and connection to the world.

In the summer of 2025, we were blessed with the opportunity to have surgery in the United States to reconstruct his right ear and create an ear canal. It was a major step for our family. After six months, his hearing improved from moderate-severe (grade 3) to mild hearing loss (grade 1). For us, this was a miracle.

For the first time, he began hearing the world more clearly.

But our journey is not finished.

He still needs further medical treatment and possibly additional procedures to ensure stable hearing and proper development. These surgeries and medical follow-ups are expensive, especially abroad. As parents, we are doing everything we can — but we cannot do this alone.
