Little CJ's medical expenses

Donation protected
Hi everyone! Lots of people have been asking how they can help little CJ! Here's how I thought we could start.
Some of you may know my sister Erin and her husband Nick have been trying for years to have a baby; going through infertility treatments, sugerys, and miscarriages. They finally became pregnant with their miracle baby and we knew right from the beginning he would be a strong little guy, as he was their only surviving embryo and only chance for them to become parents. Christian John Henry (CJ for short) was born January 13th at 1:29 pm. CJ was delivered at 28 weeks (12 weeks early) weighing 2lbs. 1 oz. and 13 ¾ long. He was delivered by emergency C section due to pregnancy complications (pre-eclampsia; very high blood pressure) putting both he and Erin’s life in danger. Even though he is very small, CJ is a fighter! He has a tough road ahead of him but is already proving he is a little warrior. He has impressed everyone and the nurses say he likes to eat, sleep and be left alone. He has come a long way already but needs to stay in the NICU for at least 3 months. Erin will be staying in Bismarck with CJ, with Nick traveling back and forth from the farm by Wishek. The expenses are starting to mount with sleeping expenses (Ronald McDonald house is wonderful, but will still cost them $600 a month), plus food, traveling expenses for Nick, in addition to the regular monthly bills. Erin has used most of her paid time off from work for the doctor’s appointments during the pregnancy process so they will not have her income during most of little CJ’s medical stay. As of Friday, the 19th, they have found CJ has a heart murmur so we are waiting for more information from the doctor’s consulting in Mayo on what that all means for CJ and his parents. I am in awe how a person’s heart can be so filled with love instantly the minute I saw CJ, their little miracle, my nephew! It also hurts so much to watch CJ, Erin and Nick go through all of this; he is truly our little warrior. As you can see I have started a Go Fund Me page for them to help with building expenses and appreciate in advance any help you can give them on this journey. We all thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Your continued thoughts and prayers are greatly appreciated!
