Little Boots- A new original play
Two Aberystywth theatre production companies collaborate to create a brand new original work, 'Little Boots' written by Daniel Abbott.
Blood, Sweat & Tea Productions ltd established in 2016, aims to create accessible, contemporary adaptations of classical, early modern and late modernistic works. Cwmni Ennyn Awaken Productions established in 2015, aims to create playful and topical stories, imaginative music and to provide young people with opportunities to produce their own theatre work. Both companies aim to create opportunities for creatives to explore, expand and develop their skills in a professional capacity.
'Little Boots' written by Daniel Abbott is an audio drama in four parts. The Roman Empire is falling apart. As the tyrannical reign of Tiberius Caesar comes to an end, into the breach steps his adopted nephew, Gaius. Guided by his beloved sister, Drusilla, Gaius seems poised to get Rome back on track... until his mind begins to break. Surrounded by ambitious praetorians, acerbic siblings and irascible senators, Gaius descends into a madness beyond even his own reckoning.
We begin rehearsals for 'Little Boots' August 2020 with the first episode to be launched March 1st 2021 across various platforms!
We are hoping to raise £5000, which will be split equally between both companies that will help us create live theatre once again. The money will cover production costs, hiring of rehearsal spaces, set, costume, additional technical requirements and the payment of our cast and crew at the national equity rate.

Mae dau gwmni theatr yn Aberystwyth yn cydweithredu i greu gwaith gwreiddiol newydd sbon, 'Little Boots' a ysgrifennwyd gan Daniel Abbott.
Nod Blood, Sweat & Tea Productions Ltd a sefydlwyd yn 2016, yw creu addasiadau cyfoes hygyrch o weithiau clasurol, modern cynnar a hwyr. Nod Cwmni Ennyn a sefydlwyd yn 2015, yw creu straeon chwareus ac amserol, cerddoriaeth ddychmygus a rhoi cyfleoedd i bobl ifanc gynhyrchu eu gwaith theatr eu hunain.
