I am a writer, knitter, chaplain, and friend—someone who has spent decades sitting with people at the edges of life. My book, Little Bit Broken, is being written from inside that work. It’s a book about vocation, sobriety, and what it costs to show up fully for other people’s most sacred moments while quietly carrying your own.
Little Bit Broken is not just my story—it’s a witness to the quiet strength found in brokenness, and the sacredness of showing up for one another. Through years of sitting with people in their most vulnerable moments, I have seen how courage, hope, and healing emerge from places we least expect. This book is a call to recognize the beauty in our shared struggles and to honor the resilience that lives in all of us.
And, for those who know me, you already know I’m dyslexic. I can’t spell, and I have absolutely no regard for punctuation—which is exactly why I need Chelsey Clammer ! Her expertise is essential to ensure the story is told with clarity and compassion (and, let’s be honest, proper commas). Your support will help cover her editorial fee and bring Little Bit Broken one step closer to the hands that need it. Every bit of help, no matter the size, is deeply appreciated. Thank you for believing in this project and helping me share this story with the world.
