Beloved Community! This fund is being raised to help a dear find of mine relocate out of a domestic abusive situation. To protect her safety I will not say her full name, but her name is Kathy.
Kathy suffers from a anxiety disability called Selective Mutism that affects 1 in 140 adults. This disability causes the loss of speech and also affects some of her mobility.
She is one of the sweetest women I know and is very vulnerable She is currently very scared in her living situation and has reached out for help.
I am mobilizing and calling in caring souls to help free this woman into a supportive new home. My goal is to raise $5k to take care of any of her needs and have a safe place for her to live for a month or two while we work on long term solutions for her. For her safety, I am keeping this campaign off social media.
