Hi my name is Hailley and I’m fundraising for my best friend and her son. They have been going through a challenging time with her youngest son, 4 year old Benjamin. Ben became severely ill over a year ago and was constantly dismissed by doctors and health care professionals. Fast forward to dealing with non stop incontinence, rapid weight loss, aggregating pain, inflammation all over and non stop fevers, Ben is spending his time in BC children’s hospital.

Ben has undergone a huge amount of testing and currently we have discovered little Ben has chrons, colitis and a possible immune disease. Ben is receiving transfusions, steroids and round the clock care.

With all this going on, his mother Olivia has been unable to work. She’s a single mom of 2 young wonderful boys, and right now her youngest is in SEVERE pain everyday and has to be by his side.

They will be placed in Children’s Hospital that has the recourses to help little Ben for a good while, while also making weekly trips for medication once he is released. This hospital however is in a different city that is far away from where they live, with the need to catch a long ferry every time. Bens plan for treatment and medical care is costly and this money would also help with gas, food, and other everyday living expenses for this young family.

Olivia is always the first person to help everyone and anyone. She puts her own wants and needs on hold for her kids and always puts them first. She is trying everything she can to help her baby boy be able to live his happy healthy life.
