Little Bear's Attack Recovery Journey

Little Bear was attacked on April 29th. I could post thousands of words about the trauma both Little Bear and I experienced, but what happened has happened and we are just trying to move forward. She has had 20+ vet visits as of 8/6 and incurred over $11k (and counting). We are owed restitution of about $8k from the attacker-dog's parents but don't know if or when we will see any of that money. Pretty much everything is on credit cards right now so our main goal is paying off our Care Credit cards (we have 2) before it charges 30% interest in November and February. Little Bear is powering through as best as she can and we are doing what we can to support her! She's an old gal, but she's not ready for the rainbow road :)
