Little Ashirafu Urgently Needs Your Help for Medical Care

Hello, my name is Esther and I am fundraising on behalf of the Helping Hands Ministries in Uganda to help a little boy named Ashirafu to receive urgent medical care.
Too often, children are abandoned by their parents in the poor villages of Uganda because they cannot afford to take care of them or they just don't want the responsibility of caring for them. Sadly, these children oftentimes end up suffering in so many ways. This is the case of 4 year old Ashirafu who was abandoned by him mother who moved away and left him and his father, to marry another man. His father also moved away to go in search of work in another city, and left him in the care of his elderly grandmother who does not have the means to properly take care of him.
Ashirafu, as can be seen in pictures and videos provided in this fundraiser, is swollen all over his body, including his face and feet. He also has Eczema, a medical condition in which patches of skin become rough and inflamed, with blisters that cause itching and bleeding, sometimes resulting from a reaction to irritation (eczematous dermatitis) but more typically having no obvious external cause. You can see the discomfort and distress that this condition is causing him.

Because of and lack of funds, Ashirafu's grandmother has not been able to take him to the hospital and his condition is worsening daily. Too often, children in Uganda die because of the lack of funds to receive medical care. We do not want this to be the case for Ashirafu. I am hoping that we can work together to improve his health and save his life.
I am trying to raise $2,000 CAD (or $1,500 USD) to help Ashirafu receive the help he needs. The funds will be used to pay for his hospital admissions fee, tests and examinations, medications, after care treatments and foods that he will need.
