Hi, my name is Erin Clement. I am starting this GoFundMe for little Arlis Phillips and his family. Little Archie, as we all call him, is 3 years old and was just diagnosed with Leukemia. He has a very long hard road ahead of him. His dad, Arlis Phillips, works for the City of Cookeville Water Dept and mom, Brittany, is a stay at home mom. They have 4 kids and one on the way, so you can imagine how difficult this is going to be on them for Big Arlis not to be able to work for a while. Little Archie will be in the hospital for around 8 days, fingers crossed. They are hoping to do surgery tomorrow, but his platelet count has to be up around 50,000. It keeps dropping and is only around 16,000 right now. They will have to travel back and forth to Nashville for chemo once a week for chemo for 6-8 months and then he will have to go for chemo treatments for 2-3 years. This is going to be a very long hard journey and we are just trying to help ease the financial burden just a bit with travel expenses, food while they're traveling & out of work, medical bills that may come up ect.
