We are setting up this fundraiser for our dear friend Linnet and her husband Jai. In December 2019 their 14 month old boy was diagnosed with a very rare malignant tumour. In 2  short months their son Arel has endured 3 major brain surgeries. The first was an emergency brain surgery 21st December2019 .A week later on 30th December2019 Arel endured ten hours in theatre and on 28th January he had to go back for more brain surgery as he developed an infection. The tumour is so rare that biopsies have been sent all over Europe and now to Canada to see if the type/ grade of tumour can be identified . His parents have set up roots in Newcastle West Co. Limerick. They recently bought a new house and their other son is attending a local school. Linnet is a staff nurse in local Community hospital for the last 12 years and Jae is a nurse working in local disability services in Newcastle West. All money raised will be used to ease the financial burden while they care for their  beautiful son Arel .
