Angelito "LITO" Mata's Funeral Fund

My name is Junior and I am here with my friends Bryan and Duane to help raise money for our dearest friend Lito. Lito recently passed away & his family needs help with hospital bills and funeral costs. We are hoping you can help! He meant a lot to us and still trying to grasp that he is gone.

From Junior:
Angelito "LITO" Mata was a GREAT FRIEND to many. He was one of my closest friends whom I considered my older brother. He was well liked by so many people in our community & was such a dedicated car scene enthusiast. If you dont know him, many would say he was so cheerful and social at get togethers. While most car owners would stand by their cars at meets/shows, Lito did the opposite.....He parked his car and walked around introducing himself to everyone and would selflessly engage conversations about THEIR projects and builds. Never one to brag or boast about his own car. He truly cared for the people in the scene and the community.
3 things I can say about Lito:
#1 - He loved his friends. Always one to being a helping hand and volunteer to many who needed it. First to arrive and last to leave. Dedicated friend.
#2 - He was considered the Mayor @ car meets/shows. He loved meeting new enthusiast and catching up with old ones. Never one to stay near his car all day, but to be a social butterfly with the community.
#3 - He was a great eater! He would frequently tell me of a new restaurant he discovered and what dishes were a hit and miss! He was all knowing, lol. Always had a great suggestion on where to eat after an event we just attended.
What I will miss the most is, spending quality time with Lito. When we attended car shows together, we were both very busy and could hardly get a conversation going BUT getting together to go to a Bmx and Bike shows were our favorite! We shared the same passion for cars as for old school BMX bikes. We loved seeing other people's projects and enjoying the cult-like small knit community. If we werent walking around, we would love to just sit back in our chairs and drink beers while we "people watch" for hours! Great coversations about health, life, sports and everything in between was what we loved to do. This is what I will miss.
For those of you who dont know, Lito died March 26th at 9:45pm of a heart attack & other complications. There are more details but will not disclose them at this time.
