Who We Are-We are an innovative and value-driven learning center that wants to work with you to enhance the literacy skills of our students. Our staff comes with a wealth of knowledge and expertise in education, digital literacy and technology. We are eager to serve your school district, community and other stakeholders by creating settings that foster students’ understanding of the components between their lives and their environment. This encompasses global issues and gives them a sense of responsibility as global citizens. We help prepare our students for a successful life.
What We Do- Literacy Edge is structured in a way that students receive tutoring, online assistance for those who attend online schools and after-school care. We teach them additional skills in financial literacy, media literacy, technology literacy and information literacy. In these unprecedented times, I want to assist our students with academic recovery and support from the impact of covid-19. We want to support the excellent work that teachers are doing by providing additional engaging learning activities in literacy. We teach the whole child by providing activities featuring business owners, parents, legislators, military, law enforcement, medical services and a variety of other professionals who share stories about their work. This enhances their interests as they think about future professions and careers. We also have after school services.

Our program is needed now more than ever. Students have fallen behind and we are here to offer the support they need to be successful in education, careers, family, and life.

Your financial support will change lives! Your tax-deductible gift will enable us to help more students, educate our young people, and provide much-needed support for our community.
1- We are searching for a new home for Literacy Edge. We need a 5,000 to 6,000-square-foot building to allow us to grow and meet the needs of our growing student population.
2-We need funds to support our mission and our operational budget. To pay for equipment, materials, and teachers.
We received donations from the United States Small Business Association and Dr. Jerry Savelle Ministries.
