Next year marks LiTE-HAUS 10th anniversary in Neukölln — a milestone we’re incredibly proud of. Over the past decade, this non-profit galerie and projektraum has become a space where artists and art lovers connect, experiment, and grow together. We’ve hosted hundreds of exhibitions, welcomed creators from around the world, and built a vibrant, inclusive community centered around art and respect.
Running an independent non-profit art space is both a joy and a challenge. Like many cultural organizations, we’ve felt the impact of recent Berlin funding cuts and rising costs. While we’ve received project-based grants in the past, most don’t cover essential operating expenses such as rent, utilities, or maintenance — the things that keep our doors open and the lights on. Despite these challenges, we remain deeply committed to our mission.
LiTE-HAUS has always been a labor of love for my husband and I. We volunteer our time, handle exhibitions, design promotions, and keep the space welcoming for all artists — emerging or established. But to continue doing this sustainably, we need your support.
We’re looking to raise funds toward our base rent for the 2026 year. This will help ensure that LiTE-HAUS continues to be a home for creativity, dialogue, and community for years to come. Every contribution — large or small — helps build that future.
If you’ve visited LiTE-HAUS, you know what makes it special: three bright white rooms that transform every few weeks into new worlds of imagination and perspective. Each show reflects our belief that art should be accessible, democratic, and professional — and that artists deserve real care and respect. Your support will directly sustain this mission.
We’re grateful for every person who has been part of our story — visitors, artists, volunteers, and donors alike. With your help, we hope to continue our work for another decade in Neukölln, keeping the spirit of Berlin’s independent art scene alive and thriving.
Because we all know, Berlin is the place to be for art.
