Lita's Chronic Illness Battle Needs You

My Daughter is Living with Rare Chronic Illnesses and Needs Your Help

Hi, I’m reaching out to ask for help for my beautiful daughter, Lita, who has been bravely battling multiple life-altering chronic illnesses. This is difficult for me because I'm used to taking care of my own without assistance. However, the financial burden has just become too much for her mother and me to handle on our own.

She has Mast Cell Activation Syndrome (MCAS), Dysautonomia, and Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS)—a trio of complex conditions that have left her bed-ridden for over two years, and disabled for two years prior to that. Each day is a challenge, as her body reacts unpredictably to the environment, medications, foods, and even basic activities like sitting up.

Caring for her has become a full-time job, and her mother—her only caregiver—has been doing it all on her own while trying to hold down a job. Unfortunately, her mother's health is also beginning to decline from the physical and emotional toll of full-time caregiving. We’re at a point where we urgently need additional help.

What We Need:

• A part-time visiting helper to assist with basic care and give her mom some relief.

• Specialty compounded medications that are not covered by insurance but are essential to managing Lita’s symptoms

• Basic medical supplies and equipment to make her care at home safer and more comfortable

Every dollar raised will go directly to supporting Lita’s daily care and giving her mother the help she needs to keep going.
