Lisa Clement Memorial Scholarship

As some of you may have already heard, Mrs Lisa Clement unexpectedly passed away yesterday evening on February 3. We are setting up a memorial scholarship fund in her memory. The scholarship will be awarded to a Northlake Christian School Senior who has exhibited perseverance in the math classroom. The scholarship will be for $1000, and if our goal is met, then we will be able to award the scholarship for five years.  Part of what made Mrs Clement a gem was that she not only taught the higher level students very well, but she also had an immense amount of patience with the students that math did not come as quickly to. She encouraged everyone to persevere, to trust their work, and that hard work does indeed pay off. She had an amazing gift of teaching, and touched countless students’ lives over her 17 years at NCS.

Please prayerfully consider donating to this scholarship fund as a way to honor Mrs Clement’s legacy.
