Listoe Family Fund

Jan Listoe was born in Minot, North Dakota and moved to California as a small child, where he grew up. Jan was one of three, with an older sister and younger brother. Later in life he moved to Texas where he became a heavy equipment operator around central and south Texas. Jan met the love of his life, Debbie, while living in Dripping Springs. They married on August 28th, 1999. A year later they gave birth to their one and only child Tori Listoe who was the apple of her daddy's eye. 

Two years years ago, Jan went into the doctors for his annual physical. During this visit they discovered that he had a leaky heart valve that needed to be replaced. Surgery was preformed and Jan had a working heart valve implanted. Six months after his surgery, Jans' heart valve became infected and had to be replaced once again. This led to a rapid decline of his health and in turn, depression. Last night Jan tragically lost his battle with depression, ending his life. This left Debbie and Tori with an insurmountable amount of debt. They are faced with the task of paying off a morgage, past medical bills, funeral arragements, and Tori's future college dreams.
