Lismore has had long links with this prestigious underage competition. Indeed for a time in the 1980s, during the Brother Dormer era, trips to Féile were something of an annual pilgrimage.
Understandably our club victory in this year's Waterford competition has been greeted with great excitement. After a wait of over 20 years we have earned the right to represent our county at the national competition once again.
This year's Féile will be held on the weekend of 20th June in Carlow and Laois. We will strive once again for success in the 'A' competition, playing for the famed Christy Ring Cup.
We look forward to your support over the weekend, following the boys to various venues across the host counties.
In the present climate success comes at a cost and we want to ensure that every player on our panel is properly equipped and looked after for the Féile weekend. All funds raised will go directly towards purchasing team kits and providing meals and other essentials for the team for the duration of the competition.
Any contribution big or small will make a real difference.
Thank you for your support
