Lismore Floods - Help me, help Jenn
Donation protected
My name is Nikki Degabriele from Adelaide, and I desperately want to help a dear friend of mine, who has recently lost everything she owns in the devastating Lismore floods.
Jenn is a single mum originally from Adelaide who picked up her life several years ago, searching for a more simple life for her two beautiful children, Edward and Aurelia.
Jenn recently moved to a new home, which she renovated on her own and finally had a beautiful and secure place for her and the children to call home.
Fortunately, Jenn and the children were not home when the floods hit Lismore and currently have temporary shelter.
Due to the danger of the floods, Jenn was unable to get back to her home to salvage any of their belongings. This meant Jenn lost absolutely everything in her home, all their clothes, toys, photos, their family car and some very sentimental items, such as paintings, letters, keepsakes and jewellery, from her mother, who has passed.
Jenn is also uncertain of the whereabouts of their beloved family pet Cherry.
What has happened to Jenn and the Lismore community is unfathomable, and any support and assistance would be greatly appreciated.
The money raised won't get her home back, but it will provide her with a vehicle to get her children to school, clothes to wear, some new toys for the children, short term accomdation and a little bit of hope.
Anything will help.
