Hi my name is Valerie and I am raising funds for Lisbett.

Hard working, bubbly and warm hearted Lisbett, a 33 year old farm worker has been devastatingly diagnosed with advanced, stage 4, breast cancer. A complicated, fast growing, aggressive, breast cancer that has spread to her surrounding lymph nodes. This means she will be undergoing intensive chemotherapy, immunotherapy and surgery. These treatments come with many difficult side affects and costs.

Lisbett has worked tirelessly in the agricultural industry during covid, ensuring Australia had the vital supplies we needed. Lisbett, who is from Chile, is not entitled to medicare despite working so hard for these last 5 years. She will require multiple scans, surgeries and chemotherapy and only a small part of the costs will be covered by her medical insurance. Bills for PET scans, ultrasounds, bone scans, CTs, biopsy, and doctors are already mounting and she is only a month into the journey.

We want to rally together to help Lisbett and try to make life slightly easier, in this most difficult time. We are aiming to obtain financial assistance to cover her loss of income, astronomical cost of medical bills and a wig for when she loses her hair.
