ACTUALIZACIÓN:
Lisbeth fue trasladada ayer en ambulancia a San Cristóbal para la realización de la Arteriografía en la Policlínica Táchira. Sin embargo, posterior al examen se presentó una reacción adversa (caída de tensión e inconsciencia por varias horas) que ahora amerita un procedimiento urgente: embolizar un aneurisma (vía catéter).
Es por esto que hemos subido el monto de la meta inicial, para poder cubrir los gastos de este nuevo procedimiento y la hospitalización por varios días en la clínica (450 USD por día).

UPDATE:
Lisbeth was transferred yesterday by ambulance to San Cristóbal to perform the arteriography at the Táchira Polyclinic. However, after the examination, there was an adverse reaction (drop-in tension and unconsciousness for several hours) that now merits an urgent procedure: embolizing an aneurysm (via catheter).
This is why, to be able to cover the expenses of this new procedure and the hospitalization for several days in the clinic (450 USD per day), we have raised the amount of the initial goal.

Lisbeth Lacau Perozo (La China) sufrió un ACV el día 26 de abril de 2021 y desde entonces está hospitalizada en el IAHULA (Hospital Universitario de los Andes). Según su diagnóstico (adjuntamos informe médico), tuvo un ACV hemorrágico: hemorragia subaracnoidea espontánea Fisher IV.
Lisbeth Perozo (La China) suffered a stroke on April 26, 2021, and has been hospitalized at the IAHULA (Hospital Universitario de Los Andes). According to her diagnosis (attached medical report), she had a hemorrhagic stroke: spontaneous subarachnoid hemorrhage Fisher IV.
Se le realizó una tomografía computarizada cerebral para determinar la gravedad de su situación.
She had a brain CT scan to determine the severity of her condition.
Actualmente necesita ser trasladada -en ambulancia por la gravedad de su situación- a la ciudad de San Cristóbal en el estado Táchira (un trayecto de 6 horas desde la ciudad de Mérida), para poder realizar una Arteriografía con sustracción digital de 4 vasos, la cual determinará con exactitud su actual estado de salud y si es necesaria una intervención quirúrgica.
She currently needs to be transferred—by ambulance due to the seriousness of her condition—from Mérida City (Venezuela), to San Cristóbal city in Táchira State (6 hours of commute), to be able to perform a 4-vessel digital subtraction arteriography, which will determine with precision her current health condition and if a surgical intervention is necessary.
En la ciudad de Mérida no se cuenta con este estudio especializado. Los costos de traslados, exámenes, cuidados y tratamientos superan los $7500, razón por la que hoy solicitamos tu ayuda.
