In 2015, Lisa Shutterly was diagnosed with a rare disease known as Sarcoidosis. On Thursday, July 14, 2016, Lisa got the call she had been so patiently waiting for. She was to get a lung transplant the next day. Unfortunately, there were major complications with her heart and she was unable to get her transplant. She has a beautiful daughter and granddaughter who do not have much financial support at this time. Her daughter is currently not working since she has been staying at the hospital with Lisa in the ICU.
