DECEMBER 2024 UPDATE:
In Sept 2024, I found out that my cancer had progressed and is now in my spine. I did quite a bit of research and consulting to seek out my best treatment options and spent months going back and forth to out-of-state appointments, until I was finally accepted and able to begin treatment at the Emory Proton Therapy center in Atlanta, GA.
I will spend 3-4 weeks at the center, receiving treatments twice per day. At this point, due to pain and weakness, I am not able to walk unassisted, so thankfully my husband, Michael was able to be approved for FMLA to accompany me, however that is another 4 weeks of unpaid leave, during an already difficult time of year. And unfortunately, as we all know, the bills don't stop rolling in just because you are sick.
I am truly so humbled by your donations, and give thanks to the Lord for His provision through you! More than anything, I would love your prayers for a COMPLETE response to this treatment so I can spend 2025 cancer free with my husband and 4 girls after fighting cancer for 2 years.
Any funds collected here will be used for:
• Medications/Procedures not covered by insurance
• Lodging during the stay in Atlanta
• Food during the stay in Atlanta
• Travel expenses
• Help covering usual bills during Michael's unpaid time off such as mortgage, utilities, phone, etc.
ANY donations are so appreciated, but we also ask that you PLEASE share the link to this page. There is power is numbers, and we all can come together to help me and my family financially so I can focus on healing and spending time with my husband and four daughters. Thank you!!
UPDATE:
Lisa is spending 3 weeks in California for cancer treatments, and the development of a plan for healing once she returns home. Unfortunately, every individual treatment and provider appointment is paid out of pocket daily and averages about $1000 per day. This is in addition to the flight costs, hotel cost, and food costs which are also out of pocket. Her husband, Michael traveled with her to California for support, and as a result is missing 4 weeks of work without pay.
She is SO GRATEFUL for the donations thus far which is the only way she has been able to pay the deposit to be able to make it to Cali for treatments. But there is still a long road ahead.
Any funds collected here will provide:
• Cancer treatments at the center
• Cancer medications after she returns home
• Travel expenses
• Nutrition expenses
ANY donations are so appreciated, but we also ask that you PLEASE share her link to this page. There is power is numbers, and we all can come together to help Lisa and her family financially so she can focus on healing herself and spending time with her husband and four daughters. Thank you!

Hi everyone,
On March 20, 2023, Lisa, the most amazing, kind-hearted woman was diagnosed with Stage 2 cervical cancer, just 4 short months after delivering her 4th daughter.
From May - July of last year, Lisa traveled 60 miles daily to complete her chemo and radiation treatments.
Unfortunately, her post-treatment scans are now showing suspicious lymph nodes, and her doctors are recommending treatment begin again.
She is self-employed and there will be many out-of-pocket treatments and extended travel this year to seek out care for her healing.
Lisa and her family are going through a lot during this time and financial worries should be the least of their concerns. With that said, all donations will be used to help release any worry surrounding financial concerns for Lisa and her family.
Thank you for your generosity in supporting Lisa during this challenging time. Lisa and her family request your prayers and belief for her COMPLETE healing!
