Our dearest friend, mother, sister, daughter, grandmother, Lisa A. Levy, age 43, has been diagnosed with advanced liver disease, is terminally ill, given a 10% chance of survival. She has been in numerous hospital's since October 2016. Lisa is currently waiting a liver transplant at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center located in Los Angeles California. Liver transplants can be risky, but lifesaving. There is a great shortage of livers suitable for transplant, a waiting list, and guidelines to be followed for acceptance as a liver transplant candidate. Lisa and her husband Abe, and two daughters, Samantha now age 23 and Isabella age 10, have been supporting her from afar. Driving from Carmel, CA to Los Angeles is time consuming and costly. Samantha lives in Virginia and has a 3 year daughter, Kinsley, Lisa's only grand-daughter.
Donations will help Lisa and her family cover medical expenses accruing and for her family to make ends meet. As anyone can image, Lisa's 10 year old daughter Izzie is very fragile and emotionally distraught, with on-going counseling necessary.
Lisa re-located 10 years ago from Florida to Carmel, California with her husband Abe to live. She fell in love with the Majestic Redwood Groves, the ocean and the endless possibilities California has to offer. While in the Carmel / Big Sur area, Lisa enjoys sharing her property for others to enjoy by renting out her two beautiful cabins in Big Sur, CA. Her husband is a teacher, supporting their 10 year old daughter, Izzie, and maintaining the rental properties with limited income. Lisa is no longer able to work. Any amount of donation given is greatly appreciated helping our beloved Lisa's chance of survival. Our prayers are with Lisa and her family.
