Lisa's Lyme Disease Fundraiser

Those of you who know our lovely Lisa are aware of how her health has deteriorated since April of 2021. She was bitten by ticks that month, and since then, she has been experiencing the debilitating effects of Lyme Disease.

To talk to Lisa now, we can hear how the disease has attacked the muscles in her head and neck. It has affected her entire nervous system, resulting in tinnitus, muscle spasms, weight loss, and more.

In her quest to find answers and help, she sent blood to Germany for testing for the disease, where she tested positive. She is pursuing multiple treatment options that are not covered by BC medical. Some of these options may require travel out of the country.

Lisa continues to work, even given the toll it takes on her compromised health. Anything her friends and clients may be able to contribute will help her to access treatment for this disease.
