Lisa's Leukemia Battle

Hi. My name is Lori. I am a very close friend of Lisa Galisky. On the morning of September 29, 2021, Lisa Galisky attended the walk-in clinic feeling unwell. The Doctor at the clinic had advised Lisa to go directly to the Hospital where she attended the Emergency at Peace Arch. That same afternoon, Lisa was transported via ambulance from Peace Arch Hospital to Vancouver General where she was admitted and given the devastating news that she had been diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia.

Lisa continues to undergo a number of tests and has since began Chemotherapy, however she is faced with a long road to recovery.

Being self-employed as a cleaner, Lisa’s income is solely dependent on being physically able to work which will not be possible for an undetermined amount of time.

Lisa is a mother to 4 adult boys, who continue to be her biggest supporters and have since stepped up immensely to help in every way possible during this difficult time.

In order to have Lisa and her boys put all their focus on recovery and being together as a family, we are looking to raise funds to relieve all financial stresses.

All donated funds will assist in Lisa’s loss of income and covering expenses.
