Lisa’s journey to beating Ulcerative Colitis

I am wanting to help raise money for one of the strongest and most determined women I know. A daughter, mother, sister, and friend who was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis in 2007. Lisa Jo Sheggrud-Clark had been in remission for 2 years but has recently had another flare up so bad that she decided she’s ready to kick this diseases butt! She has been given the go ahead to have the J-pouch surgery so she can begin living life to the fullest like she was meant to. 

Lisa’s disease is so severe that a normal 2 step surgery has to be spaced into 3 surgeries instead, and with that will be a very long hospital stay. She has insurance, but we all know that doesn’t cover everything. Lisa needs to focus on her well being and on her daughter, the last thing she should worry about is how she is going to pay medical bills.
