My name is Lisa. I was diagnosed with uterine and endometrial cancer. Since last year, I have been battling an infection that was a side effect of my cancer treatments. I still have not been deemed cancer-free. This infection was so bad it took 7 of my teeth; I had to have them removed because it was so infected, and some bone was replaced as well. I finished the last of the treatments for the infection last Wednesday, 1/7/2026.
The surgeon who removed the cancer, for some reason, did not take any lymph nodes. I was informed that because no nodes were removed, they wouldn’t be able to tell if the cancer spread to them. He would like me to start a chemo pill to take for a few years and treat me as if it spread since they can’t just go in and take a lymph node. This oncologist left, and a new oncologist was assigned to me. The new oncologist informed me that the medication he had me taking was hurting me more than helping me.
I now need to have the teeth replaced. Some of the teeth are in the front of my smile. I cannot afford to do it alone. I work part-time so that I can care for my child. She has been diagnosed with severe anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, self-harm, and has SI. She attempted to end her life with an overdose. She still has a long road to go before I can leave her anywhere with no supervision or work outside of the home full-time.
I need to stay strong and healthy to help her finish getting better and through this, and that's why I am asking for help with these medical bills.
