Lisa had a hard fall last summer when her dog knocked her over. She ended up flat on her hip in her backyard. Over time the pain in her back got worse.  After months of physical therapy and compression treatment, it was determined that there had been a misdiagnosis. The issue was not in her back but in her hip.  Several more doctor appointments revealed that she has a tear and partial detachment in the labral and has been advised that it will not get better without surgery.  Her surgery is scheduled for the beginning of April.  Lisa has been in pain and unable to do many things for half a year.  She has missed out on family events as well as doing sports with her dogs (she is an avid athlete).

   Lisa has had months of restricted work and mounting medical bills. She will have to pay for most of her surgery out of pocket, buy some specialty medical equipment to help her recover, and cover her living expenses during a 12-week recovery process. She will be unable to drive for 4 weeks. She just lost her father to Covid. She in bereavement and is missing the many ways he always supported her.
