Lisa has been diagnosed with a Meningioma brain tumor.
Her surgery is scheduled for TUESDAY, MARCH 9TH at UCI Medical center in Orange.
The neurosurgeon said it's slow growing and 90% of this type of tumor are benign. It's 1x1/2 inches. They won't be able to get it all due to where it's located, at the spinal cord encasing the carotid artery.
She'll be in ICU for 24 hours and at the hospital for about 4 days. Recovery could take 4 weeks, give or take. She may need radiation after that.
Lisa is such a gift. To know her is to love her, there's no doubt about that.
She's in the middle of a very scary time and she's facing real challenges. The kinds of challenges that can make a person feel helpless as it feel like there's nothing one can do.
