Miss Lisa Marie needs some help.
She is a giver. The first night she met me she said, "I love you" and she meant it, and has been an overflowing cup of kindness and love ever since. She has a beautiful soul.
For those of you not aware, she almost died in January, and has been recovering slowly, unable to work, while raising two children on her own. She is a strong warrior, but, as much as she is trying, she literally does not know how she's going to get by these next two months. All the grants and funds she can attempt to get take time to process, she can't work, and she needs our help.
Donate as little or as much as you can, she needs us. And she is one of the beautiful souls worth supporting.

A message from LisaMarie:
I achieve the impossible almost every single day. Sometimes with some help, but most days entirely alone. In case it's slipped beneath notice, I am the sole parent of my two youngest children. Due to the serious illness that almost took my life in January and February, I am now disabled, unable to work enough to support myself and my kids (I thought I'd be recovered by now).
Though the court says child support should be paid, I've not received any. Though the court says supervised visits with my ex are in order, he has yet to initiate that process (only he can do that). My family are all too far away geographically to step in and help with the kids, nor do they have the means to support us financially. It's actually miraculous that we've lasted this long out here. That's not sarcasm, that's amazed gratitude. We've had an incredible amount of help easing the squeezing and reminding us that life has great things too.
So what's a mama to do when she's (at the moment) completely out of financial resources for the next 2 months, has already squeezed every drop out of every resource she has, has maximized every gift, every loan, is not physically able to work or earn income from her professional skills....and there is still a significant amount of money still owed for ongoing survival bills such as rent, utilities, keeping my car running so i can keep going?
I'm maxed out for some of my grant applications and have to wait to reapply. I've been in the application process for disability income since July (for which I am told I am eligible because my long term disability is expected to last more than 12 months), housing grants, etc. But each of these are a long process, and there's about a 2 month gap between the end of some resources and the expected beginning of others.
Anyone want to buy some of my art? Have any $$ burning a hole in your pocket? Extra time and the ability to competently and reliably care for two young children who've been through a lot this past year?

All money donated will go towards keeping LisaMarie and her children fed, housed, and operating until the hoped for and expected funds come through in about two months.
What do you get out of it?
Love, hugs, and knowing you did her part to keep her here in the Bay Area where we get to enjoy her radiance.
