Lisa (Stortz) Huffman, 45 years old, was recently diagnosed with metastatic breast carcinoma (grade 3 breast cancer).

Lisa will subsequently undergo twelve weeks of chemotherapy, a bilateral (double) mastectomy and lymph node removal, and multiple radiation treatments.

A mother of three, with two grandchildren and another on the way, Lisa has always been a strong advocate for our community and has generously donated her time and tireless energy to assist all those she comes in contact with. We are now hoping to support her just as she has supported so many of her friends and family.

Currently, her family is incurring numerous out-of-pocket costs for her treatment and care at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN: gas, food, lodging, and associated medical needs not covered by insurance.
