To our friends and family:
My 14-year-old sister Lisa is an A+ student and a very talented ballerina. She started dancing at a young age, and has started to train more seriously in the past two years because of her passion for classical ballet. This year, after a grueling audition, she was invited to be a part of the Houston Ballet Summer Intensive. The Houston Ballet is one of the BEST ballet companies in the world, and words can't explain how proud I am of my sister for her hard work and dedication.
She goes to ballet practice nearly every single day of the week and trains for a minimum of 3 hours per day (on top of making PERFECT grades in school). As her older sister, I want to support her in being able to participate in this incredible opportunity. This is her third time auditioning for this summer program, and she was finally invited to participate.
There will be a final performance at the end of the six-week program, and we will keep posting updates on how you can be a part of the audience, to watch Lisa's hard work pay off! Thank you so much for taking the time to read this, and I hope that you are able to donate even a little so that my sister can be a part of this incredible opportunity!
