Lisa Hartford's burial & memorial

As most of you are aware, last Tuesday my baby sister Lisa (45 yrs old) was found unconscious on her bathroom floor by our sister Denise. After being rushed to MMC tests showed Lisa had a massive stroke and an operation was performed to stop the brain bleed and also remove part of the right side of her skull to allow room for the brain's swelling. Unfortunately, the stroke has damaged 40% of the right side of her brain. Saturday we met as a family with the Palliative Care Team to discuss Lisa's prognosis after an MRI had been taken that morning. We were told that if she survived she would be dependent upon caretakers in a nursing home for the rest of her life. They asked us would Lisa want this? Collectively we said "no" so the heartbreaking decision we have to make is to remove our spunky, fun-loving, hard-working, wonderful sister/Mother to her 14 yr daughter Abbi, from the ventilator with her loved ones gathered around her. We have decided to do this Tuesday, 8/1st are told she will probably not survive. This Go Fund Me Page is our need to raise money for a burial/memorial as Lisa did not have any Life insurance.
