Lisa Edwards Transplant Fund

Many of you may know my family or at least my Mother, Lisa Browning Edwards. My Momma has been suffering with Bronchiolitis Obliterans with Organizing Pneumonia (BOOP) for 15 years now where we all have spent countless hours at many different doctors as well as many different surgeries for biopsies just to diagnose this rare disease. Finally after many years she found comfort from doctors in Dallas at University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center and Research Center where they were able to diagnose her disease. In all of these years she has refused to sit down and let this disease control her life. Many of you have seen her work with an oxygen tank strapped to her back steadily working just to pay her medical expenses due to insurance does not always cover her needs. What you all didn't know is that our Mom was waiting for the day for the doctors would tell her it was time for double lung transplant. Now that time has come and she will soon have to move to Dallas away not only from her home, but from her husband, Ricky Edwards, who has to continue to work just to provide her with insurance to help pay for her transplant and long road to recovery. We all know our Mother and Father are very proud caring people where they will not ask for help, but give you the shirts off their backs if it may be needed. Now they need help and this is for living expenses, travel for our parents to see each other as well as to help when she starts making more trips to Dallas prior to moving, and help paying for medical needs. Any amount will be appreciated as well as kind words of encouragement and pray for our family. Thank you all again.
