Lisa Whiteman Runs Him Medical Benefit Fund

As most of you are aware, Lisa was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in the fall of 2019. She began chemo right away & had 6 rounds, which was was every 14 days until December 24, 2019. She then had 2 scans the end of December & first of January along with 2 more rounds of chemo to see if she would be able to have the Whipple procedure done to remove as much of it as possible. Her Whipple procedure took place February 26, 2020. In March of the same year her surgeon called for a 2nd pathology report to make sure they had gotten everything & it showed cancer had spread to 1 of her lymph nodes. Her oncologist immediately found a promising clinical trial at John Hopkins. In April of 2020 she had a CT scan & it showed no detectable cancer, but started maintenance chemo once a week for 3 weeks then off a week, which went on for 6 months. And of course a little thing called COVID happened & all clinical trials were put on hold. In July of 2020 she had another scan & no detectable cancer & finished her 18 rounds of chemo September 22, 2020. Her regular 3 month scans were going well until June of this year where they found some lesions on her lungs. She then had a lung biopsy on 11/2/21, which showed her pancreatic cancer was back & had metastasized to her lungs. A trip out to the University of WA on 11/28/21 Lisa was told she has 13 months to live. She is now working on further testing at the Cancer Center of America in Phoenix & the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN.  She is one tough cookie so we know she will give this her largest fight yet!

As you can tell from the above (which is not even a glimpse into what has taken place & what Lisa has experienced), Lisa has been through a tremendous journey. We have set up a medical fund to help Lisa, Nate & Cody with all the medical expenses that have been accruing, any monthly expenses they might have & also for the further testing & travel that she will need to endure.

If you would like to help, you are welcome to donate to the Harriet Anderson Memorial Fund (HAM) in Lisa's name. This is a 501c3 so is tax deductible. Please mail checks to 6103 Hobson Lane, Missoula MT 59803, checks made payable to HAM. Or we have set up this account as an electronic means to do the same.

Any help you are able to give to Lisa & her family is very much appreciated! We all know she would give us the shirt off her back :)

Please share this with anyone you know who would like to help Lisa & donate.
