We are creating this GoFundMe on behalf of one of our dealers and member of the MBA family, Grant Stanford and his 11-year-old son, Cadon, who are grieving the heartbreaking loss of a devoted wife and mother, Lisa.

On June 1, Grant lost his soulmate—his wife of nearly 14 years, Lisa Stanford. Their anniversary was just two weeks away, and they had planned a cruise to celebrate, full of hope and dreams for the future. Her passing has left a hole in their lives that words can’t begin to fill.

Their love story began when they were just 15 years old, meeting in church and quickly becoming inseparable. They married at 18, and welcomed Cadon into the world at 20. Shortly after, Grant joined the Army, and she stood by him through every challenge of his decade-long military career, including his injury and eventual medical retirement.

After leaving the military, he pursued entrepreneurship—a journey that was terrifying and uncertain. But through every failure and attempt, she was there, encouraging him, believing in him. When they discovered MBA, she became the heart and soul of their venture.

Lisa had an incredible gift for connection. Customers who might have walked away instead felt comforted and safe in her presence. Her kindness, warmth, and empathy turned strangers into clients—and clients into friends. She truly made their business what it was.

Behind her strength, though, Lisa fought a private battle with physical and mental pain for many years. Despite all she gave to her family and community, that pain became too much.

Now, Grant and Cadon are left navigating unimaginable grief. Cadon, who shared a deep bond with his mom, is especially heartbroken.

We are raising funds to help them during this painful transition. Donations will go toward:

Providing emotional and therapeutic support for Cadon

Helping cover living expenses while they find their footing

Covering memorial and funeral costs

Supporting the continuation of the business she helped build.

Grant often says everything he ever did was for his wife and their family. Now, we want to rally around him and Cadon to show them they’re not alone.
