Imagine going to the doctor for a sharp pain in your side, thinking it’s nothing more than maybe a bad case of appendicitis. Then imagine finding out a few days later the pain you went in for, that you thought would be fixable with a prescription, is actually stage 4 liver and lymph node cancer (metastatic liver carcinoma). That’s what happened to my mom, Lisa Sette. None of us, especially her, could have prepared for this. She was given 2-8 weeks to live.
Lisa Sette started her business, In Home Hair Care, in 2007 after spending time doing her own mother’s hair in the comfort of her own home when she was battling Alzheimer's and dementia. When Lisa’s mother passed away, she wanted to continue to grant other elderly and disabled women the simple joy of getting their hair done. She started this business out of the pure love and goodness of her heart and has worked tirelessly every single day taking care of her ladies.

She has touched the lives and souls of so many women through her business, some of which had little to no family by their sides. Many of the women she’s worked with have passed over the years and she showed them love until the very end.
Lisa loves her business and what she’s able to do for her ladies, but upon being diagnosed with stage 4 cancer everything came to a halt. With such little time to prepare for such a prognosis, she was not able to make the proper arrangements to train someone to take over her clientele or go through the motions of selling it. In her current condition, she is unable to do either of those things. All of her hard work, love, and dedication she put into her business has been dwindled down to nothing.
Lisa is the most selfless, kind hearted, loving person you could ever meet. She’s always put others before her and does nothing but spread love and positivity to everyone she touches. She is a blessing to this planet.
With her being unable to work, medical + general bills accumulating, and having to prepare for funeral costs, and the Sette family could really use some financial blessings right now. Anything you can contribute is deeply appreciated, and if you’re unable to help financially simply sharing this page is more than enough. Please help Lisa and her family fight this battle and continue to pray for a miracle.
