The life of Lisa Marie Cummins has inspired and touched many in our community. Her joy of life, love of God, and generous spirit has left a legacy to be enjoyed by all. Throughout Lisa’s battle with brain cancer, School Outfitters was extremely generous in their support, modeling a culture of true compassion. Their support created a significant impression on Lisa and our entire family. Because of this, we wish to thank this exemplary organization with a legacy gift that will impact the employees at School Outfitters for years to come.
The Lisa Marie Cummins Scholarship Fund has been established to purchase college text books for the immediate families of employees of School Outfitters. Under the Lisa Marie Cummins Scholarship Fund, applicants enrolled full or part-time must maintain college GPA standard of at least 2.0 to remain eligible to apply. Awards will be distributed based on the financial needs of qualified applicants.
The goal is to raise at least $50,000 to establish a principal that will remain intact while the investment income is available for scholarships. In this way, the scholarship fund will have a lasting impact over a significant period. Gifts made to the fund above and beyond the goal will be added to the principal allowing the fund to continue to grow.
Since 1998, the consultants at School Outfitters have assisted educators in the creation of engaging learning environments, and they understand the process from beginning to end. For more information about this wonderful company that has been voted as one of the Top 30 Best Places to Work, please visit www.schooloutfitters.com.
Thank you for supporting the mission and work that was so important to Lisa. If you have questions about this fund, please contact her family!
Sincerely,
Daniel, Brittnay, Morgan, and Sydney
