Mindi, Chase, Maci, and Carter have a difficult road ahead. Mindi's wife Lisa got very sick very quickly, resulting in open heart surgery with what they thought was a clot and a valve replacement. The mass ended up being a very rare form of heart cancer. The mass was so large that it caused organ failure of the liver and kidneys. Lisa is not expected to live much longer.
