My name is Nicol, and I am Lisa's sister in law, with the permission and support of her family, I have been asked to organise this fundraiser to help give Lisa the send off she truly deserves. Any funds remaining after funeral expenses will go to help support Phoenix-Rome through the difficult months ahead.

On 17th June 2026, our beautiful Lisa fell asleep for the final time at just 31 years old.

For over 18 months, Lisa fought the bravest battle against Stage 4 breast cancer, throughout her journey, the cancer spread to multiple parts of her body, including her liver, spine, hip, thyroid, and eventually her brain, where doctors discovered four brain tumours.

Lisa endured six months of aggressive chemotherapy before moving onto oral chemotherapy treatment. She underwent surgery on her thyroid and later received radiotherapy when the cancer spread to her hip.

When she began suffering from severe headaches, further scans revealed four tumours on her brain. The treatment plan was for Lisa to undergo ten sessions of radiotherapy followed by chemotherapy every three weeks for the rest of her life.

As devastating as this news was, Lisa never stopped fighting, her hair had only just started to grow back after chemotherapy, and the thought of losing it again broke her heart, but for her little boy, Phoenix-Rome, and for everyone she loved, Lisa was determined to keep fighting and make every moment count.

Sadly, Lisa was only able to receive two rounds of radiotherapy before her condition rapidly deteriorated, she passed away in her sleep, leaving behind her beloved three year old son, Phoenix-Rome, her partner, her parents, her three brothers, and a family who loved her beyond words.

Despite everything she faced, Lisa continued to live life to the fullest, she created precious memories with her family through holidays, days out, and special moments together. She continued to play football, one of her greatest passions, and remained positive and courageous throughout her illness.

Her passing came as a complete shock to us all, just days before, she had been feeling well and enjoying time with her loved ones.

Lisa was a devoted mother, loving daughter, caring sister and partner, and a wonderful friend. She had an energy that lit up every room, a sense of humour that could make anyone laugh, and a heart full of love. She loved football, kickboxing, going to the gym, long walks and most importantly, spending time with the people she loved most.

Anyone who had the privilege of knowing Lisa was incredibly lucky, she touched so many lives and will be missed more than words can ever express.

The money raised will help cover Lisa's funeral costs so we can give her the beautiful farewell she deserves. Any remaining funds will go towards supporting her son Phoenix-Rome, such as clothing, hobbies, days out which will help Leon Phoenix's dad support him as they navigate life without her.
