OCSD Sheriff Norwood has now confirmed the identity of the victim involved in the fatality accident along Arkansas 24.
Lisa Nicole Holliman, 25, of Camden, was the woman found dead in a "ravine" along Arkansas 24 earlier today. One of her children, a three-year-old boy, was found by a passerby, and the second child - a one-year-old infant - was found still in a car-seat today. Both were taken to OCMC for observation and appear to be OK, the sheriff said. The investigation regarding the accident is ongoing, but so far, it seems that the last person to have seen Holliman did so on Saturday.
UPDATE:
Ouachita County Sheriff David Norwood has confirmed to the Camden News that the mother of the child who was found earlier today near the old Harvey's Grocery Store along Arkansas 24 has been located and is deceased due to a vehicle accident. The sheriff said that the car went into a ravine along the roadway and that the mother was ejected from the vehicle. Another child thought to be around one-and-a-half years old was discovered still strapped into a car-seat in the vehicle. The child has been taken to the hospital and appears to be in good condition other than a bit dehydrated, the sheriff said. The child discovered earlier today is also in good condition, said Norwood, adding that the young boy found this morning by a passerby along the roadway. The Arkansas State Police has taken over the investigation of the accident, Norwood stated. For more details, see Tuesday's edition of the Camden News.
