Lisa Marie Stiel and Michael Albert Stiel
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Andi and I am Lisa’s sister.
As many know Lisa taken from this life far too early. It has been a heartbreaking time for her family and friends, and now that some time has passed for us to grapple with this loss it is time to lay both Lisa and her late father Mike Stiel to rest together, in a place those who loved them can stop to reflect on how their life was impacted by either Lisa or her father.
There have been many messages of condolences and questions of “how can we help?”
I now humbly ask for your help. Please consider donating in memory of the love and laughter Lisa gave many, and the love she had for her father so they may rest eternally together.
The goal of this go fund me will cover a companion vault in the columbarium’s of the Cranbrook cemetery. Any additional proceeds of this go fund me will be donated to the charities listed in Lisa’s obituary. Thank you to everyone who has sent their love, knowing how many people miss her smile and laughter brings some ease to the heartache of losing her so young.
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Lisa earlier this year on April 13, at the young age of 32.
Loved by all who met her, and known for her infectious laughter, her kindness, and remembered for her big heart, and even bigger…. personality. Her sense of humour was unmatched and her collection of inside jokes with those she loved was infinite.
Growing up Lisas early years were spent on the North Island, later moving to the East Kootenays where she spent her childhood and teenage years. Graduating in 2011 Lisa then went on to attend college and become a hairstylist. Catching up with friends in her chair while letting creativity flow was where she showed her love.
Lisa was a light for many, lending guidance and motivation to those in the fitness community and providing support to those who needed just a little extra love.
In September of 2024 Lisa lost her father, and with him a part of her died too. She was the light of his life, and he meant the world to her. Losing her father gave Lisa the strength and determination to build the life she truly wanted, and shortly after taking the leap to live life on her own terms, tragedy struck her again. Those who truly knew Lisa knew the path in life she desperately wanted to create for herself.
Lisa will be fiercely loved and remembered by many, with endless stories of adventure, mishaps, chaos, and as always, laughter.
What if every time you think of them, it’s because they’re telling a story about you in heaven?
Time passes differently there. By the time they turn around to look for you, you’ll be right there behind them.
A private gathering will be held by family and close friends at a later date.
