Our sister, daughter, wife and mother Lisa Helpingstine passed away suddenly on New Years Eve morning (12/31/2022). She collapsed at home, but medical heroes were unable to revive her at the hospital. We were not aware that she was sick, so we will have to wait ninety days for the cause of her death.
Lisa leaves her adult son Drew and husband Jim of 33 years, both of Chula Vista, California.
Money raised will go to Lisa’s cremation and internment in our family plot at El Camino Memorial Park in Sorrento Valley, as well as Jim’s continuing medical care and some home repairs that had remained unfinished when she died.
Services will be at Mission Valley Church of the Nazarene in March or April, and we will post more details as they are available.
